The Artist

Born and raised in France, I was never exposed to the Arts And Crafts Movement.

Needlework, on the other hand, has always been a part of my life. I was a little girl when my mother taught me how to embroider.

In 1992, my husband and I settled into our new Chicago home furnished with craftsman furniture. I started searching for textures and colors that would brighten our walls and sitting areas.

Today, while I remain faithful to the works of the masters of this period, I have tried to cultivate my very own style of decorating for the modern craftsman lifestyle and environment.

My color palette includes both Craftsman and Prairie hues to dress both traditional and modern homes with colorful linens.

With the creation of  Craftsman Textiles, I take pride in offering the best techniques of hand embroidering and the highest quality of firmly woven European linens, as a background for appliqué, stenciling, and needlework.
